Slotting the walls onto the pylons might require some help from adults as children might accidentally bend the walls while sliding it in. I love how realistic the walls look and it makes an impressive combat zone.
The tower and walls are made from cardboard hence it is advisable to look after it and avoiding bending it. This kit also comes with a tower, 15 walls and 20 pylons. As an adult, I do find the controllers a little too small and worry that they are not robust enough but they work fine for little hands! Do make sure your child look after the controllers as they are quite small and very easy to drop if they get too excited. They are also very responsive and pair up quickly to the infra-red remote controllers. The spiders are very well made, quick to move around and their heads are able to rotate 360 degrees to fire in every direction. These high-tech infrared spiders can actually fire at one another and their light can even bounce off walls to hit opponents around the corner. Quick press to reset health & pairing and to turn it on. Hold the button for 2 seconds to turn it off. The on/off button is located around the middle part of the spider. The sound level is slightly on the quiet side. The spiders are fuelled with futuristic voice and sound effects. Do remember to keep the batteries well away from younger children. Each comes with their own coloured remote controls and have a total of 6 LR44 button batteries for replacement. These Battle Spiders 2.0 comes in two different colours: Blue and Orange. It is suitable for aged eight and above, and you can play with up to four players (each additional spider sold separately).

I bought these for my grandson and he thinks they are the coolest think ever. It is a Christmas gift for my 10 year old grandson. I was impressed the came with an extra set of batteries, but the batteries that were in one bot were dead on arrival. My kids were very impressed with these bots.
